Ghana is in urgent need of a leader who truly comprehends the intricacies of job creation — that’s the compelling message from Christiana Agyapong, the wife of Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, the former Member of Parliament for Assin Central. As the New Patriotic Party (NPP) gears up for the 2028 general elections, Mrs. Agyapong is passionately advocating for delegates to support her husband as the party’s candidate.
In her heartfelt Christmas message, she pointed out that unemployment stands as one of the most critical issues facing Ghana today. She firmly believes that her husband possesses the necessary vision and expertise to bolster small businesses and enhance manufacturing efforts, ultimately generating sustainable employment opportunities for the youth of the nation.
"Given the pressing challenge of unemployment, it is imperative for the NPP to select a leader who understands the mechanisms behind job creation—someone who champions entrepreneurship and actively aids small businesses in their growth. This way, our young people can find work, innovate, and build livelihoods that will last," she articulated emphatically.
Moreover, Mrs. Agyapong underscored the significance of electing a leader who has earned the trust of the populace and can inspire confidence across the board.
"He will be at the top of the ballot. The choices we make now will shape our future, our children's future, the future of our party, and indeed the future of our nation on January 31, 2026. I sincerely urge all delegates to think carefully and choose a leader who is not only trusted by the people but also widely accepted and capable of instilling confidence throughout the country," she implored the delegates.
